When can you install sod? Sod can be installed from spring through fall in Michigan. Spring and fall are ideal because cooler weather makes watering easier.
How much should I water new sod? New sod needs steady watering for the first few weeks while it roots. We give you a simple watering schedule when we finish.
Do you fix drainage before laying sod? Yes. We grade for drainage and can add yard drains or bury downspouts. See our drainage page.
